LEMONISM x ACTIONISM 2015-16 | ACTIONISM 2017 | ACTIONISM *Special 2018

Japanese-Austrian choreographer Akemi Takeya gives a rhizomatic performance that addresses the body as a tangible self. 72 concepts become tokens of its metamorphosis. And the lemon becomes a metaphor for the transformation of the body. The performance is presented in the framework of “Redefining Action(ism)”, a cooperation between ImPulsTanz and mumok. This confrontaion with Actionism is the kick-off for a performance series of Lemonism, which will examine the relation between Lemonism and the existing “Isms” in our world.
